Accessibility statement
Credit staff and borrowers need to complete real work with the platform, whatever device, input method or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Draft for legal review. This text describes how the product is designed to behave. It has not yet been approved by counsel for any jurisdiction and does not form a binding agreement until it is. Institutions sign their own agreement before using the service.
What we build in
- semantic HTML, with landmarks, headings and a skip link on every page;
- full keyboard access with a visible focus indicator;
- labelled form fields and error messages tied to their fields;
- status never shown by colour alone, and contrast checked against both light and dark themes;
- reduced-motion support, which switches animation off;
- charts that also provide their data as a table.
How we test
Every page is run through an automated axe-core audit as part of our checks, and colour pairs are tested against the real colour tokens. Automated tools find only part of the problems, so a manual audit with assistive technology is required before launch.
Known gaps
A manual audit with screen readers and other assistive technology has not yet been completed. Colour contrast of every rendered state is checked through tokens rather than in a real browser for each page. We will publish findings and fixes here once the audit is done.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on this site or in the platform is hard to use, please tell us through the contact page. Describe the page, what you were trying to do and any assistive technology you use. We aim to reply promptly and offer an alternative way to complete the task.
